Ilze Plakane has specialized in the real estate, litigation and labour law. Upon providing legal assistance she has worked on planning real estate transactions, drawing up draft agreements, drafting construction contracts, developing documents for management of residential housing; advising clients about application of industry-specific legal framework. Ilze has a considerable experience in labour law matters, which includes drafting of documents required by the labour law for major enterprises (production facilities, building companies, trading companies, and companies of other industries), development of non-compete agreements, as well as resolution of various issues concerning the labour law before courts. Ilze represents clients in court concerning claims for performance of transactions, validity thereof, and recovery of damages, in disputes subject to the property law; labour disputes, as well as administrative cases and insolvency proceedings.
Before joining the team of AmberLaw experience of Ilze Plakane as the attorney-at-law included representation of key clients in real estate sector, inter alia, by serving and representing one of the top companies in Latvia in the real estate development, management, and trade sector. She has researched human rights issues continuously.
Her previous experience involves provision of legal assistance to such clients as Benetton, Jeld-Wen, Colgate Palmolive, Atradius, Impel Serviks, Latvijas Tilti, Vestabalt, and others.
